EV Consumer Unit, also known as an Electric Vehicle Consumer Unit, is a specialized electrical distribution board specificaly designedfor electric vehicle (EV) charging installations. lts primary purpose is to provide a dedicated and safe electrical circuit for an EV chargingpoint, ensuring that the high-power demands of charging do not interfere with the main electrical system of a building.
ETEK Electric offers three enclosure types of Ev Consumer Units: iP65 metal or polycarbonate waterproof units for outdoor use and lP20units for indoor use. These units come with various component options to meet most protection needs, with customization available aswell.
